[HCM] DEPUTY MANAGER – HUMAN RESOURCE BUSINESS PARTNER (HRBP)
JOB DESCRIPTION
Primary Objective:
- Partner with line management on HR, business needs and special projects
- Handle generalist responsibilities including recruitment, training, C&B and performance management
- Provide the foundational support and functional expertise that drives proactivity and results across related business units
Key Activities:

- Duties and Authority of Execution
- General Department Management
Roles and responsibilities:
List in order of importance the major responsibilities of the job and estimate the percentage of time spent on each
responsibility (the main function of the job may or may not be the one where the most time is spent).
- Work with Department Heads and Line Managers to develop people strategy for related business units (BUs) to enable them to deliver its business objectives (20%)
- Implement the above people strategy including recruitment, training and development, C&B and succession planning (20%)
- Work with relevant HR functional teams in other processes namely performance management, compensation review, employer branding, talent management, employee engagement, etc (20%)
- Provide input for HR Specialist teams in policy development process and proactively propose policy/process specific for related BUs if necessary (20%)
- Advise managers and employees of related BUs in people related matters (10%)
- Analyze HR key metrics (turnover, exit interviews, days to fill positions, cost per hire) and utilize data for process improvements (10%)
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Qualification and Job Requirements:
- University degree
- At least 05-year experience in HR field (in retail market is a plus).
- Ability to take commercial insights and translate into the Organization & People agenda to influence the business.
- Ability take employee feedback, identify trends and themes, develop interventions and engage senior stakeholders behind required actions
- Ability to develop plans and take through to action by engaging relevant stakeholders and managing expectations around timing, process etc.
- Proven ability to facilitate, persuade, influence and build credibility with all levels and all functions. Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment with multiple priorities a must.
- Relationship and People Skill: Solutions orientation balanced with delivery focus, Strong organizational skills
Preferred skills:
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Good communication, problem solving & presentation skill.
- Good oral and written communication skills in both English and Vietnamese
- Proficiency in computer skills (MS Office).
- Good management, planning and analyzing ability.
- Knowledge about Labour law and labour market in Vietnam.
- Ability to maintain the highest degree on confidentiality and professional discretion
