[Hai Phong] Admin Manager

Key Responsibilities:

1.      Administrative tasks

–       Implement store operating plan within budget parameters and sustain during financial year.

–       Develop and implement new administrative systems, such as record management.

–       Supervise daily store warehouse’s opening and closing; provide guidance through the implementation of standard procedure and monitor store keys.

–       Supervise material order to ensure cost efficiency, the ordering and issuing of uniforms, name badges and swipe cards.

–       Coordinate with Aeon Delight to tackle issues relating to house-keeping, security and technical matters.

–       Receive and work with inspection team from governmental authorities.

–       Supervise other matters relating to staff’s benefits, i.e. staff bus, staff canteen, medical room, garbage management.

2.      Process & Guidelines

–       Develop working process, guidelines for other departments to ensure smooth operation.

–       Communicate, train, implement and sustain relevant policies, processes and procedures within the store to deliver the required outcomes.

3.     Cost Control

–       Rigorously examine store’s budget and expenditure to come up with cost saving plan.

–       Control store expenditure within budget parameters.

–       Promote, strengthen cost effectiveness mindset to all Store staff.

4.      Supporting roles

–       Plan ahead and work towards material order and related processes for new store’s opening.

–       Support other functions in execution of promotion schemes, customer survey, handling customer’s grievance and finding solutions to arisen difficulties in operation.

–       Support other departments regarding recruitment plan, staff allocation plan to ensure adequate staffing for smooth operation, especially in peak seasons.

5.     Manpower management
–      Optimize people productivity by manpower planning and implementation to achieve target and maximum productivity.

–       Ensure efficient leadership to direct the Line/Department towards Company’s business strategies. 

–       Take part in recruitment & selection activities for Line/ Department’s staffing.

–       Motivate, training and develop staff in order to encourage their professional development.

–       Identify potential staff for succession planning purposes.

6.     Other duties
Other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by Store Manager and or Senior General Manager – Operation.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications & Experience:

–          University graduate.

–          A minimum of 5 years related office/administrative management experience, preferably in retail industry.

Knowledge, Skills & Behaviors:

–          Computer literacy (Ms. Office, Internet,…).

–          Sound knowledge of retail background.

–          Highly organized and able to prioritize, demonstrated attention to detail.

–          Advanced written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

–          Demonstrated ability to build effective teams and motivate employees.

–          Strong initiative and leadership skills.

–          Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

–          Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and changes in strategies.

–          Good command of English: verbal and written.

–          Be able to work at shift & on Public holidays.

–          Have ability to relocate to other Stores as per Company’s assignment is a plus.

DAISO Supervisor-Giám Sát Cửa Hàng Đồng Giá

  1. Job Requirements:

Monitor the operation of all Daiso stores

-Go to stores for checking the situation and support for store operation- Contact and negotiate with leaser for the contract

-Coordinate between all stores for information sharing, inventory transferring.

-Coordinate with supplier for ordering and delivery.

Support for opening new Daiso stores:

-Support for setup fixture and display for new stores.

-Training operation/cashier skill and product knowledge for new staff

-Support for operation during the opening period.

Other duties:

-Make daily, monthly report.

-Translate product name list.

-Create and print POP, product information… for all stores.

-Arrange with accounting for payment to suppliers.

-Order small equipment, stationery and material for store using.

-Other tasks assigned by Daiso Manager.

2. Qualifications & Experience:

– College or University degree, preferably in Economics, Business Management or related subjects.

– 1-3 years experience.

Knowledge, skills & Behavior

– Good communication skill (both verbal & written).

– Good command of spoken and written English.

– Customer-oriented mindset.

Merchandiser- Foodline

Key responsibilities:

1. Main Duties
– Responsibility of “the target of Sales”, Margin, Later Income, Old Stock, Potential Old Stock, Turn-over day, Stock Day’s, Private Brand Share, Core Customer Share, Stock Correction & Availability.
– Manage the performance of a defined product category effectively in terms of pricing, promotion, products assortment, quality of products, planning and allocation.
– Supplier management, negotiation of payment terms, rebates etc.
– Work with Marketing team to propose the regular promotion plan of Groups to ensure that the range fully reflects the Core Target Group needs in terms of the complete offer.
– Research, analyze and evaluate the market to identify customer’s needs and product/range opportunities.
– Develop a range assortment that delivers Competitive Advantage in the Vietnamese Market.
– Full responsibility in the development and implementation of Private Brand Strategy within the Category.
– Ensure that the Pricing Strategy is fully in place and understood by Suppliers.
– Design and implement with Merchandising Plano grams delivering right space allocation and achieve the best productivity of each gondola.
– Ensure clear communication and understanding to Operations of any action taken that impact on the Customer or Stores.
– Achievement of Commercial Key Performance Indicator
– Identify with Supply Chain the most effective/cost efficient means of delivering product to the store. Follow the designated Import process.
– Re-assess article performance on a regular basis to identify and deal with any old stock.
– Proactively evaluate and act on results of promotional activity to implement any key learning’s.
– Maintain effective internal communications channel particularly with other Merchandise team, operations, sales & marketing, logistic and other functions within the organization
– Provide all necessary information and documentation is passed to supporting staff, ensuring all necessary Admin is completed in a timely and fashion manner.

2. Other Duties
– Any necessary task that is deemed important from time to time.


Job Requirements:
1. Qualifications & Experience
– University degree, preferably in Economics, Business Management or related subjects.
– At least 3-year experience in retail. The same category is advantage.
– Have experience in design and implement with Merchandising Plano grams delivering.

– Fluency in Vietnamese and English languages (both written and oral).
