Key responsibilities:

Merchandising Executive is responsible for the assigned Category’s total Sales & GP, retail merchandise performance, visual and operational presentation of designed selling zones at AEON stores, including but not limited to Layout, Planogram, Schematics, POSM display….

1. Main duties:

– Make the Strategy of Category-in-charge, mainly Beauty care: Product concept, 3C Analysis, Assortment plan, Monthly & Quarterly Sales plan…

– Maintain the data for Analysis and keep updated with Market Trend of product/category, Competitor benchmark…

– Always propose Innovative Ideas, New Product Development, New Proposal to support Business development.

– Deal with suppliers on Price, Trade Terms, Promotion Plan to get the best offer.

– Prepare Planogram / Schematic plan for product display and coordinate with OPR to ensure well-maintained selling floor.

– Prepare Layout, Fixture for New Store Opening (NSO) / Store Renovation

– Do Weekly Market & Competitor survey with Managers & Assistant to MD and make report accordingly.

– Coordinate activities with other departments of the company.

– Other tasks might be assigned by superiors.

– At least from College degree in Economic, business administration or equivalent qualifications.

– 02-year experience in related Retail business with the same categories or department or 1 year at same position at H&B store is Preferable.

[HCM] – ASSISTANT TO MERCHANDISER (SUPERMARKET LINE)

A. Responsibilities

1. Assist to Merchandising Executive
– Create product code, make orders, adjust price in promotion on PROFIT system.
– Monitor coyness’s promotion program and support to work with suppliers based on Merchandiser requirement.
– Check merchandise at Selling Area, display goods on shelves.
– Check actual stock condition in warehouse, adjust the display if necessary.
– Support for some paper work and the others (Claim business trip and booking ticket, booking room).
– Communicate with OP team and get customer demand and feedback Merchandiser.

2. Regularly make report
– Collect selling report from Operation and send to Merchandiser.
– Collect sales report for merchandiser team on PROFIT system.
– Send sales report and PO to concess, solve any arising discrepancies.

3. Market research
– Regularly go to competitors for survey (price, assortment, service…) and make the report to Merchandiser.
– Regularly check the Market research report and report to Merchandiser about the market trend, customer’s demand changing, new activities of competitors…

4. Other Duties
Any necessary task that is deemed important from time to time.

A. Responsibilities

1. Follow Merchandise Policy & 52W sales plan

– Analyze 3C (Customer, Competitor & Company) pre-season with Marketing view and make Group Policy based on Soft line policy
– Category Policy has 5 functions

  • Concept
  • Sales Plan

  • Promotion Policy

2. Make & propose Assortment Plan

  • Making item sale plan and SH map & C.A.P (conceptional assortment plan)
  • Set focus item (Price, Sales & Purchase plan and Price & Cost)
  • Schematic plan and Block layout for display
  • Making Promotion plan

3. Check Sales & Stock progress and adjustment in season

– By Weekly

  • Check Sales, Stock progress and adjust for further order
  • Check actual stock inventory, storage, shrinkage and placement

– By Month

  • Check Sales, Stock progress and make promotion plan for next month
  • Propose Sales plan in charge to OP team including display and Visual merchandiser
  • Provide the design, direction and placement of the POP
  • ABC analyze and make decision to expand item and reduce item

4. Budget plan and Control

– Review Sales by monthly and control TOD
– Monthly Check MD report and adjust for next 2 month budget to achieve yearly budget in charge

5. Supplier management

– Develop sourcing for merchandise from local suppliers
– Ensure suppliers have the capability and capacity to provide product in line with agreed timescales and quality standards
– Build and maintain excellent relationship and network with suppliers
– Ensure all aspects of supplier performance is properly and effectively assessed and managed, taking appropriate remedial action where necessary
– Get better condition for TOP suppliers.

6. Communication skill

Explain to OP team as following:
– Monthly sales plan
– Instruct and support to OP team layout change monthly
– Solve merchandiser problem
– Make marketing and POP to present merchandiser strategy clearly for customers.
