MAIN DUTIES

1. Supplier management:

  • Develop sourcing for merchandise from local suppliers
  • Ensure suppliers have the capability and capacity to provide product in line with agreed timescales and quality standards

  • Ensure all aspects of supplier performance is properly and effectively assessed and managed, taking appropriate remedial action where necessary

2. Product Management:

  • Analyze 3C (Customer, Competitor & Company)
  • Research, analyze and evaluate the market to identify customer’s needs and product/range opportunities.
  • Develop a range assortment that delivers Competitive Advantage in the Vietnamese Market.
  • Making 52W sales plan

3. Pricing Management:

  • Analyze 3C to propose the pricing strategy for Group in charge
  • FP chart analyze to make/adjust the pricing strategy

4. Promotion Management

  • Promotion, sale planning

5. Display management (Zoning, Layout, POG)

  • Propose Sales plan including display and Visual merchandiser
  • Provide the design, direction and placement of the POP
  • Maintain effective internal communications channel 

6. Other Duties

Primary Objective:

    – Responsibility of “the target of Sales”, Margin, Rebates, Manage Purchase-Sales-Inventory

    – Ensure that the Pricing Strategy is fully in place and understood by Suppliers.
    – Maintain effective internal communications channel particularly 
    – Achievement of Commercial Key Performance Indicator
    – Identify with Supply Chain the most effective/cost efficient means of delivering product to the store. Follow the designated Import process.
    – Proactively evaluate and act on results of promotional activity to draw out any key learning points.
    – Prepare and work on layout, fixtures for new store opening/store renovation when needed.
    – Provide all necessary information and documentation is passed to supporting staff, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed in a timely and professional/proper manner.

  • Other Duties
    Any necessary task that is deemed important from time to time.

Qualification and Job Requirements:
1. University degree, preferably in Economics, Business Management or related subjects.
2. 04 year experience in retail with the same scope (merchandising/buying).

Preferred skills:
1. Fluency in Vietnamese and English languages (both written and oral).

Roles and responsibility:

  1. Clerical and Administrative support
    – Support General Manager to manage workload effectively
    – Follow and arrange working schedule for General Manager, including organizing of all appointments, meetings, travel arrangements, budgets and expense
    – Support in setting and implementing Company’s programs, operation plans
    – Receive, check-up all the documents, papers and reports before getting approval from General Manager

[HCMC] ASSISTANT TO MD (SUPERMARKET LINE)

I. Responsibilities

1. Assist to Merchandising Executive
– Create product code, make orders, adjust price in promotion on PROFIT system.
– Monitor coyness’s promotion program and support to work with suppliers based on Merchandiser requirement.
– Check merchandise at Selling Area, display goods on shelves.
– Check actual stock condition in warehouse, adjust the display if necessary.
– Support for some paper work and the others (Claim business trip and booking ticket, booking room).
– Communicate with OP team and get customer demand and feedback Merchandiser.

2. Regularly make report
– Collect selling report from Operation and send to Merchandiser.
– Collect sales report for merchandiser team on PROFIT system.
– Send sales report and PO to concess, solve any arising discrepancies.

3. Market research
– Regularly go to competitors for survey (price, assortment, service…) and make the report to Merchandiser
– Regularly check the Market research report and report to Merchandiser about the market trend, customer’s demand changing, new activities of competitors…

4. Other Duties
Any necessary task that is deemed important from time to time.

I. Responsibilities

1. Supplier management

2. Product Management:

– Work with Customer Management Team (Marketing team) to propose the regular promotion plan of Groups to ensure that the range fully reflects the Core Target Group needs in terms of the complete offer.
– Research, analyze and evaluate the market to identify customer’s needs and product/range opportunities.
– Develop a range assortment that delivers Competitive Advantage in the Vietnamese Market.
– Collaborate with PB team in the development and implementation of Private Brand Strategy within the Category.
– Making 52W sales plan and SH map & C.A.P (conceptional assortment plan)

3. Pricing Management:
– Analyze 3C to propose the pricing strategy for Group in charge
– Ensure that the Pricing Strategy is fully in place and understood by Suppliers.
– FP chart analyze to make/adjust the pricing strategy according to Customer’s demands changing, Market trend or Competitors’ strategy

4. Promotion Management:
– Check Sales, Stock progress and make promotion plan for next month
– Making monthly sales plan (Focus item with sales plan, Block layout & promotion plan, Trend of sales)
– Work out 52W sales and promotion plan, event plan
– Proactively evaluate and act on results of promotional activity to implement any key learning’s.

5. Display management (Zoning, Layout, POG)
– Propose Sales plan in charge to OP team including display and Visual merchandiser
– Provide the design, direction and placement of the POP
– Maintain effective internal communications channel particularly with other Merchandise team, operations, sales & marketing, logistic and other functions within the organization
– Provide all necessary information and documentation is passed to supporting staff, ensuring all necessary Admin is completed in a timely and fashion manner.
